Slow Flow

A slow paced yet  invigorating vinyasa yoga class where you are invited to move with your breath creating a steady internal rhythm for your practice. This 60 minute class will help you develop balance, strength and flexibility. It will challenge and nurture both body and mind, waking up to the gift of aliveness.

The Flow: What to Expect?

The class starts with a seated breathing practice that allows you to re-centre in preparation for mindful movement with breath. This is followed by gentle asanas (postures) where you can subtly allow the body to open as we flow towards more dynamic postures. You’ll be guided through a few rounds of Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), which helps create internal heat within the body. One that is cleansing and rejuvenating. Easing into a standing sequence where postures are held for a couple of breaths precedes a rhythmic flow. A grounding finishing sequence, and meditation prepares you for a soothing and quiet relaxation practice.

You’re invited to bring a sense of curiosity and explore the dance between effort and ease as you awaken your senses to the fullness of each moment.

Mums and Bubs Yoga

When: Tuesdays

Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

This class is especially for you post natal mummies and babies. Immerse yourself in an hour of  mindful  movement with the breath as you engage yourself in yoga practice suitable for mums with babies from 6 weeks to crawling. A special time to nurture yourself, build awareness in your body, regain strength  through your abdominal walls, pelvic floor and back muscles.   Post natal yoga is a beautiful way to honour the transformation that unfolds post delivery and supports you in your journey in motherhood.  Our class focuses on releasing tension in both body and mind,  awareness of the pelvic floor and deeper abdominal muscles, exploring the play between strength and softening through our yoga flow, breathing and meditation practice. No yoga experience required at all. Please consult your care provider before commencing any form of exercise.

Pregnancy Yoga (all trimesters)

Time : 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm

A class for all women in various trimesters. A practice that supports your pregnancy, exploring the ever changing body during this special time. Learn breathing techniques that can help de-stress, move in a way that explores both strength and softness yet moving with ease and comfort.
